There was a marathon on TV this afternoon. I love this show, but I hate this show. Allow me to explain.
Regardless of the situation, the family featured, et al, I will cry every single time. One episode started, and within 30 seconds Elizabeth and I were both beside ourselves in tears. It never fails. It's quite similar to Pavlov's dogs; turn on Extreme Makeover: Home Edition and Alyssa will inevitably cry.
I think what I love so much about the show is seeing people helping people who really deserve it, but thanks to this marathon, I've been an emotional wreck all afternoon.
As E. so aptly put it:
"That show is America. It's like, take that World, we're going to give those people houses."
