This is Chef's Table in Orem. It's been a goal of mine to eat here before I finish school and leave Utah. Three problems though: 1. It's expensive. 2. It's not the kind of place you go to alone. and 3. I never really had anything worth celebrating to justify going and spending a lot of money on food.Well, problems solved. Spencer promised that if he got this job offer he wanted, we'd go. He got the offer, so we went. It was a very fun, enjoyable evening. We even decided that for dessert we'd go to the cheapest place we could find; just so we'd partake of both ends of the food quality spectrum. So, after our jaunt around Barnes & Noble, we got milkshakes from the drive-through at In-N-Out.
This is what I ate at the restaurant:
:: prosciutto stuffed chicken with a creamy swiss cheese sauce + rice and mixed vegetables ::
delicious.
it was really fun to get all dressed up and act like adults for a night

Nice restaurants are one of the joys of being married--anniversaries and occassions to celebrate with delicious food!
Sounds like a fun night! Do you have any pictures of you and Spencer dressed up?
No, no pictures. Dummy that I am, didn't think to bring a camera.
Sounds like a lovely night. I LOVE eating at great restaurants.
