That may be the measure of our lives." - Toni Morrison

"Growing up Southern is a privilege, really. It's more than where you're born; it's an idea and state of mind that seems imparted at birth. It's more than loving fried chicken, sweet tea, football, and country music. It’s being hospitable, devoted to front porches, magnolias, moon pies, coca-cola... and each other. We don't become Southern - we're born that way." - Unknown

recipe for a great night

Start it off with watching a joyous reunion between two of your friends. Then add in some good Italian food, and even better conversation. Then remove the rest of your group, leaving you with the nice boy whose politeness impressed you. Move your now party of two to the loft of said boy's apartment. Continue the great conversation, and add in some awesome music. Let that sit for about two hours. Finish it off with an episode of The Office, and a dash of more unexpected manners.

Yields one really fun night.

I'm a huge fan of manners!!! I have to say, though, that I just don't get why so many people think The Office is funny. It's actually painful for me to watch.
