"Growing up Southern is a privilege, really. It's more than where you're born; it's an idea and state of mind that seems imparted at birth. It's more than loving fried chicken, sweet tea, football, and country music. It’s being hospitable, devoted to front porches, magnolias, moon pies, coca-cola... and each other. We don't become Southern - we're born that way." - Unknown

the ups and downs of sunday
up: I interpreted for sacrament meeting again, and I wasn't nervous. I love doing this so much.
down: I mixed up the signs "follow" and "lead"
down: The girl sitting next to me in relief society had smelly feet.
up: Someone brought Red Vines to the ward potluck
down: There wasn't enough food for everyone.
up: I'm eating Red Vines
up: Tomorrow I'm going to see Into the Woods again.
up: I'm watching The Wizard of Oz. I love this movie so much.
up: The bucket of Red Vines was left for me at my apartment.
up: The odds are in my favor; I'm watching this movie with three guys, and I'm the only girl home.
Verdict: The ups win for today.
Huzzah.
