That may be the measure of our lives." - Toni Morrison

"Growing up Southern is a privilege, really. It's more than where you're born; it's an idea and state of mind that seems imparted at birth. It's more than loving fried chicken, sweet tea, football, and country music. It’s being hospitable, devoted to front porches, magnolias, moon pies, coca-cola... and each other. We don't become Southern - we're born that way." - Unknown

anything can happen in the woods

Tonight I went to the SCERA Center and saw Into the Woods.
It was a wonderful production, although I must admit I was a bit skeptical considering the extremely low ticket prices. However, my fears quickly diminished after the opening number.
The performances were wonderful;
the witch + Rapunzel's prince being my favorites.
Sondheim is brilliant. Simply brilliant. I love his musicals so much. If you aren't familiar with his works, please go familiarize yourself here.
You won't be sorry.
