Southern people until I'm actually with one.
My accent was back in full force tonight, and it felt positively amazing. It actually lingered for quite some time afterwards too. Sorry for all y'all that missed the occasion. My evening consisted of supper at a good local BBQ place. Both AL and SC represented by their respective sauces. Combine that with 2 hours of delightful conversation at the restaurant, several rounds of guitar hero, then even more hours of said conversation with my good friends Kansas and Lynyrd Skynyrd providing the background music. Add in two YouTube viewings of a Leprechaun sighting in Mobile, AL, a viewing of interviews with people who have seen the Lizard Man of Lee County, redneck jokes online (yeah, I really do know people like that) searching around our hometowns on the street view option on Google Maps, and a reading of random passages from The Politically Incorrect Guide to The South (and why it will rise again) for a night of pure awesomeness. Also factor in that I am extremely lucky to have had the privilege to spend the evening with a perfect Southern gentleman who has the most adorable accent I've ever heard, opened every single door, and even got my coat for me when I was fixin to leave his apartment for the night.
Although, I would expect no less from a boy born and raised in the south.
Evening of pure, epic awesomeness? Oh yeah.

I'm glad things went so pleasantly for you last night. Remember, 2 is the magic number!
There's nothing quite like a southern gentleman. Esp. if he likes the same music as you. Glad you had fun. You may have to fill me in later on the specifics.
