As promised earlier, here is the explanation:
That crazy something that I did today that I've never done before happened earlier today. And guess what?! I survived, and it was painless. Now I bet y'all are really curious as to what I actually did. Well, here y'all go: I interpreted for sacrament meeting today. If you aren't familiar with the term sacrament meeting, it is the equivalent of what other churchs call the service. It's the part of church where we have announcements, songs, speakers, etc. Basically what I did was I signed everything that was spoken. I was extremely nervous, and despite the few expected "fall on your face"/"trainwreck" moments, I am quite pleased and proud of myself. I feel like I did an ok job for my very first attempt. It also seems like it can only go up from here; the first time you try something new is always the hardest, right? I am so excited to go to UVU now. I can't wait. This whole experience today really reaffirmed that this is what I want to do.
We are so proud of you too!!!! And are excited as well. Just be sure to wait till you have that BYU diploma in your hand! haha
