That may be the measure of our lives." - Toni Morrison

"Growing up Southern is a privilege, really. It's more than where you're born; it's an idea and state of mind that seems imparted at birth. It's more than loving fried chicken, sweet tea, football, and country music. It’s being hospitable, devoted to front porches, magnolias, moon pies, coca-cola... and each other. We don't become Southern - we're born that way." - Unknown

Now, it's real.

Tonight I saw a Sonic commercial.
This Sonic commercial:

Did you happen to catch that oh-so-important phrase that I did?
spoiler: "because now it's made with real ice cream"
Really? That doesn't instill much confidence in me. What were they making them with before the institution of real ice cream? All I could do was stare at the TV screen with a look of horror on my face as the thought of every Sonic frozen treat I've ever eaten in my entire life flashed through my mind. And while the montage of foam cups with tasty treats marched through my mind, I sat there perplexed as to what I was actually eating that was masqueraded as real ice cream.
Alas, I may never know.

Alyssa, I do love this post! However, I might be able to help.
For instance, a Wendy's Frosty is not ice cream. It is some frozen delicious concoction. So maybe Sonic had that kind of thing. I think it might be a great stone they are stepping over in this fake ice cream generation of ours! :D
