"We die. That may be the meaning of life. But we do language.
That may be the measure of our lives." - Toni Morrison

"Growing up Southern is a privilege, really. It's more than where you're born; it's an idea and state of mind that seems imparted at birth. It's more than loving fried chicken, sweet tea, football, and country music. It’s being hospitable, devoted to front porches, magnolias, moon pies, coca-cola... and each other. We don't become Southern - we're born that way." - Unknown

"I could be anywhere. In my heart I'm always there."

This came out today as a followup to his first album.
It's quite good.

Reasons why this album makes me happy:
1. The title.
2. The pictures of home in the booklet that came with it.
3. It sounds like home.
4. Track 5: "Southern State of Mind"

I'm convinced that there is no place on the whole Earth that is better than South Carolina.

I love me SC, too, but I've got to admit that NC is not bad either. It's 5-10 degrees cooler most of the time.
