That may be the measure of our lives." - Toni Morrison

"Growing up Southern is a privilege, really. It's more than where you're born; it's an idea and state of mind that seems imparted at birth. It's more than loving fried chicken, sweet tea, football, and country music. It’s being hospitable, devoted to front porches, magnolias, moon pies, coca-cola... and each other. We don't become Southern - we're born that way." - Unknown

vive le tour - 2010

My free time has been pretty much consumed now that the Tour is a part of my life again. It really makes me terribly happy watching it every day. Even with the unusual amount of crashes that have happened already, it's still incredible. I paid $30 for a subscription to the Versus website (they're the one's that sponsor the Tour) and I can watch every stage live and on demand in HD for the entirety of the tour. I can go back and watch Stage 2 on day 17 if I want to. It also comes complete with Twitter updates from the riders, interactive stage maps, current standings and even local weather conditions. Needless to say, I'm in heaven. It was thirty dollars extremely well spent.

Also, in other news, I currently feel like jumping up and down repeatedly in place whilst shouting "huzzah"s and "hooray"s and squealing like you do when you see baby animals.

That is all.
