"Growing up Southern is a privilege, really. It's more than where you're born; it's an idea and state of mind that seems imparted at birth. It's more than loving fried chicken, sweet tea, football, and country music. It’s being hospitable, devoted to front porches, magnolias, moon pies, coca-cola... and each other. We don't become Southern - we're born that way." - Unknown

and in the end, the love you take is equal to the love you make

This is where I would have loved to be tonight. Too bad ticket prices were astronomical. We're talking over $100 for the last row of a stadium. But, then again, he is Sir Paul McCartney.

Lucky for me, the local classic rock station was re-airing tonight's concert on the radio, which totally made up for the sucky traffic on the way home.

As I drove past the venue, the lights were still on. The concert was over, but I was listening to it on the radio. I couldn't help but think that Sir Paul was somewhere close by, so I gave a little fist pump.

That would have been an amazing show.
It's too bad that tickets were so expensive :(

So cool. At least you got to hear it. You probably wouldn't have seen much in the last row anyway.
