"We die. That may be the meaning of life. But we do language.
That may be the measure of our lives." - Toni Morrison

"Growing up Southern is a privilege, really. It's more than where you're born; it's an idea and state of mind that seems imparted at birth. It's more than loving fried chicken, sweet tea, football, and country music. It’s being hospitable, devoted to front porches, magnolias, moon pies, coca-cola... and each other. We don't become Southern - we're born that way." - Unknown

:: to cure the monday blues ::

Do you ever have those moments where the only way you can think to react is by having one of those jumping-up-and-down-while-squealing hugs? I had one of those moments yesterday. Sometimes things just go so perfectly, that it's the only way to react. I love it when that happens. Here are five* other things that made my weekend amazing:

1. picnic up the canyon
2. being read to from our new book
3. color coordinating clothes
4. cooking
5. toy story 3

*added bonus: Carolina beat Clemson and sent them home on Saturday, and is advancing to the finals of the college world series! Go, Cocks!!!

And if that wasn't enough, here's a cute kitten.

I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend!
