That may be the measure of our lives." - Toni Morrison

"Growing up Southern is a privilege, really. It's more than where you're born; it's an idea and state of mind that seems imparted at birth. It's more than loving fried chicken, sweet tea, football, and country music. It’s being hospitable, devoted to front porches, magnolias, moon pies, coca-cola... and each other. We don't become Southern - we're born that way." - Unknown

Pizza Pizza!

If you ever find yourself taking a vacation in or around Salt Lake City, I have a restaurant recommendation for you.

Settebello Pizzeria

We ate there last night, and it was delicious. The pizza is not made the American way. There's no sauce. Just olive oil. The toppings give it all the flavor it needs. Our pizza had a couple different kinds of cheese, pancetta, and fresh arugula. The toppings were the freshest I've ever seen on pizza.

Also, next door (and connected to the restaurant) is a gelato place. It was delicious.
