"We die. That may be the meaning of life. But we do language.
That may be the measure of our lives." - Toni Morrison

"Growing up Southern is a privilege, really. It's more than where you're born; it's an idea and state of mind that seems imparted at birth. It's more than loving fried chicken, sweet tea, football, and country music. It’s being hospitable, devoted to front porches, magnolias, moon pies, coca-cola... and each other. We don't become Southern - we're born that way." - Unknown

just an update

I'm still working on the whole getting the internet up and running at my house thing.
Here's a few updates, since I've been MIA for the past little while:

:: I successfully moved into my new house, have a really cute blue room {pictures to come}, an awesome Abbey Road poster in the living room, and there's a piano. Yes, a piano. I cannot express how happy that makes me.
:: In true Gilmore Girls style, the other night I stayed up way too late, ate leftover Chinese takeout, and spent some time in Stars Hollow, of course.
:: The police shot and killed someone at a local grocery story last night because he pulled a gun on the officers, and guess who drove up just after all the commotion because she just wanted to buy some pasta sauce? Yeah, that's right. The whole parking lot was barricaded with police tape, cars and barricades, so I pulled a crazy u-turn and got out of there real quick-like.
:: I'm coming home in two weeks, and will be there for three. Oh, happy day.

I briefly heard about this craziness at Smiths! in PROVO, whhat? How exciting.

On the film I was working on right before I left- the Dad from Gilmore Girls (Edward Hermann) is totally in it.

I would guess that doesn't happen often in Provo?! Glad you didn't pull up sooner! And happy that you were safe :)
