That may be the measure of our lives." - Toni Morrison

"Growing up Southern is a privilege, really. It's more than where you're born; it's an idea and state of mind that seems imparted at birth. It's more than loving fried chicken, sweet tea, football, and country music. It’s being hospitable, devoted to front porches, magnolias, moon pies, coca-cola... and each other. We don't become Southern - we're born that way." - Unknown

it's time for a few more little letters

Dear Sunday,
You are positively the best for taking an afternoon nap. End of.

Dear mango sorbet,
You are delicous, and I love to eat you. I also love the fact that you are sitting in my freezer, at this very moment, waiting for me.

Dear Spencer,
I absolutely love coming and having lunch with you at work during the week. It's so much fun, and seeing you always makes my day better.
p.s. You make me ridiculously happy.

Dear weather,
Please, oh, please stay warm. No more of this teasing me with warm weather just to get cold again the next day. Don't you know that it's summertime now?

Dear Lugoff/family/cats/friends,
I'll see you on Saturday!

xoxo,
A.
