F: no classes for me {huzzah}
I knew D+C was going to be great when within the first twenty minutes, my professor said, "God gives you revelation and knowledge when you're ready for it. If you're not ready to receive it and you're trying to, well sorry, 'it's no soup for you'." That's right, he quoted Seinfeld. Almost as good as my dad comparing the Brother of Jared seeing Christ's hand {verse six} to Jack Torrance in The Shining, or reading Zechariah 5:1 and throwing dinner rolls at the seminary class, but not quite.
My Post-Modern American Lit professor is a firecracker of a woman from New Zealand. She, within the first five minutes of class, told us that this class is not for the squeamish or the easily offended {e.g. the woman in my class who completely freaked over the amount of language in one of the books we're reading..."There's f-words all over the place! The language is atrocious!"... I've read the book, and I found one. That's it. One. Someone remind her to never pick up Twitterature or anything by David Sedaris} And I've digressed...after that fair warning from Dr. C, she busted out these little gems: "Sex is exciting to read about. So is war - lovely and atrocious." and "We're going to study all the gitches; e.g. the moans; the bitches."
It's going to be a fun semester.

Oh boy. I busted out laughing at quoting Seinfeld in D & C. Wow. Those books are pretty racy for BYU. I thought you could only do that in foreign languages.
My New Testament teacher pulled a No Soup For You! as well. Is it Parker?
yeah i was just thinkin that! Ren and I are in the same class.. its totally parker
Sounds like fun. I so miss college (the learning not the tests or papers).
