"We die. That may be the meaning of life. But we do language.
That may be the measure of our lives." - Toni Morrison

"Growing up Southern is a privilege, really. It's more than where you're born; it's an idea and state of mind that seems imparted at birth. It's more than loving fried chicken, sweet tea, football, and country music. It’s being hospitable, devoted to front porches, magnolias, moon pies, coca-cola... and each other. We don't become Southern - we're born that way." - Unknown

oh, there's no place like home for the holidays

Thanksgiving break was perhaps the most lovely four and a half days I've had in quite some time. I went home for the break {huzzah} and it was nothing short of perfect.

My break included, but was not limited to:
- lots of family time
- shopping
- Mellow Mushroom
- lots of time with Spencer
- my kitties
- USC: 34 ... Clemson: 17 {enough said}
- hot chocolate
- staying up really late
- my mom's food
- new shoes

I also may or may not have mildly heckled a young teenage boy at the SLC airport upon arrival on Sunday night. He was wearing a Clemson hat. I couldn't pass up an opportunity like that; they don't come by very often out here, and I still have 363 days of bragging rights left that I intend to use to their fullest.

Heehee! Go Cocks! I'm glad you had so much fun at home. I wish I could have seen you, but we'll do that at Christmas.
