That may be the measure of our lives." - Toni Morrison

"Growing up Southern is a privilege, really. It's more than where you're born; it's an idea and state of mind that seems imparted at birth. It's more than loving fried chicken, sweet tea, football, and country music. It’s being hospitable, devoted to front porches, magnolias, moon pies, coca-cola... and each other. We don't become Southern - we're born that way." - Unknown

tv commercials have gone to hell in a handbasket

I'd like to propose that the television channel Versus acquire some new commercials.
{or at least a better variety}

Maybe it's because I spend a few hours each day watching live Tour coverage on this channel, but I swear that Versus only airs three commercials outside of their lovely, exhilarating Tour promotion ads.

For instance, I've seen this movie trailer so many times that I'm beginning to think going to see this movie might be a good idea. Then I snap out of my momentary insanity and tell myself, "No, Alyssa, you DO NOT want to see this movie. That would be a very, very bad idea."

I'm also quite sick of this commercial; and this one for that matter. I now know the songs backwards and forwards, and they inevitably get stuck in my head for the rest of the day. I'd rather have this commercial from last year stuck in my head. {i like it when they all jump at the same time}

Whatever happened to the good commercials?
Seriously, what happened to them?
I remember a lovely commercial featuring Team U.S. Postal racing through the streets delivering the mail. Those were the good ole' days.

I feel you, I hate (with a passion) that wimpy little free credit guy. It makes me want to scream when it comes on, and there are like 20 different versions.

Jack in the box has a funny new one, other than that I try and zone out commercials.
