That may be the measure of our lives." - Toni Morrison

"Growing up Southern is a privilege, really. It's more than where you're born; it's an idea and state of mind that seems imparted at birth. It's more than loving fried chicken, sweet tea, football, and country music. It’s being hospitable, devoted to front porches, magnolias, moon pies, coca-cola... and each other. We don't become Southern - we're born that way." - Unknown

sometimes people get together and amazing things happen

I really love the idea of flash mobs.
{and not-so-secretly want to instigate one.}
There was one on campus last year: an epic battle between ninjas and pirates in the middle of Brigham Square.
it was extremely entertaining.

This one is quite cool, and would be awesome to do on campus somewhere.

I also came across this flash mob on a blog that I ran into this morning.
Thanks, Rose Red.
Everyone should go visit her blog asap; it's lovely.

And this may or may not be the most amazing thing I've ever seen. ever.
