"We die. That may be the meaning of life. But we do language.
That may be the measure of our lives." - Toni Morrison

"Growing up Southern is a privilege, really. It's more than where you're born; it's an idea and state of mind that seems imparted at birth. It's more than loving fried chicken, sweet tea, football, and country music. It’s being hospitable, devoted to front porches, magnolias, moon pies, coca-cola... and each other. We don't become Southern - we're born that way." - Unknown

days like today remind me why i love the Tour so much

:: a breakaway of about twenty-five including the names:
Hincapie, Cancellara, Armstrong, Klöden, Hushovd, and Cavendish, among others.
{the peloton couldn't catch them}

:: the result:
Mark Cavendish taking the stage win and the green jersey, while Cancellara stays in yellow for another day.
{a beautiful, classic sprint for the finish}

:: Lance also gained thirty-nine seconds and moved up to third place in the overall classification.
{ahead of Alberto Contador}

::
team time trial tomorrow.
if Team Astana wins, Lance will be in yellow.
{oh my goodness. get excited.}
