That may be the measure of our lives." - Toni Morrison

"Growing up Southern is a privilege, really. It's more than where you're born; it's an idea and state of mind that seems imparted at birth. It's more than loving fried chicken, sweet tea, football, and country music. It’s being hospitable, devoted to front porches, magnolias, moon pies, coca-cola... and each other. We don't become Southern - we're born that way." - Unknown

What better to do on a Sunday afternoon than
kick back and watch some cycling?

Today was Stage 2 of the Tour de Suisse.
It was probably the most exciting thing I've witnessed in the past week.
I heard Phil Liggett say the word 'peloton' and I got really excited.
I also love that the commentators' voices never fail to rise in pitch and speed the closer the riders come to the end of a stage.
There was an ever so exciting sprint to the finish,
and Fabian Cancellara is still leading in the overall classifications.

only two weeks and 5 days until the Tour starts

huzzah!

I didn't know you liked cycling. I learned how to read a bike when I was a young boy but my interest has waned, apparently.
