"We die. That may be the meaning of life. But we do language.
That may be the measure of our lives." - Toni Morrison

"Growing up Southern is a privilege, really. It's more than where you're born; it's an idea and state of mind that seems imparted at birth. It's more than loving fried chicken, sweet tea, football, and country music. It’s being hospitable, devoted to front porches, magnolias, moon pies, coca-cola... and each other. We don't become Southern - we're born that way." - Unknown

i am now completely mobile

My dad drove from South Carolina to Utah to visit me for the weekend.
{and left the truck here for my own personal use}

:: We toured Temple Square
:: Ate at arguably the best restaurant in Provo
:: Saw two adorable kittens frolicking in the grass on campus
:: Toured part of the library's Special Collections section
:: Lamented about the poor quality of Utah's Classic Rock radio stations
{South Carolina's are infinitely better}
:: And armed with a supply of milk duds and hot tamales, we conquered not one, but two movies

{did I mention that I got to spend the whole weekend with my dad?}
