"We die. That may be the meaning of life. But we do language.
That may be the measure of our lives." - Toni Morrison

"Growing up Southern is a privilege, really. It's more than where you're born; it's an idea and state of mind that seems imparted at birth. It's more than loving fried chicken, sweet tea, football, and country music. It’s being hospitable, devoted to front porches, magnolias, moon pies, coca-cola... and each other. We don't become Southern - we're born that way." - Unknown

I think this is the beginning of a beautiful summer...

I have new pictures on my picture board,
school is out for the summer,
my mom is coming to visit on Wednesday,
and I talked to my wonderful boy today for an hour and forty minutes.
I absolutely adore this feeling. What is it, you may ask?
Happiness.

{life is grand}

Happiness is a cool thing! You need to swim in it and let your fingers get all pruny!

So, like, when are we going to hang out?
