"We die. That may be the meaning of life. But we do language.
That may be the measure of our lives." - Toni Morrison

"Growing up Southern is a privilege, really. It's more than where you're born; it's an idea and state of mind that seems imparted at birth. It's more than loving fried chicken, sweet tea, football, and country music. It’s being hospitable, devoted to front porches, magnolias, moon pies, coca-cola... and each other. We don't become Southern - we're born that way." - Unknown

where in the world?

:: Sunday was E's birthday, and she is getting her mission call this week. So, we all decided that it would be fun to see where we would "go" if we decided to go on missions by spinning around with our eyes closed, and then throwing a pen at our wall of maps.

:: Round 1: A really long explanation about what I'm about to do + 6 spins + E's priceless face.

:: Maybe hitting Brett's chin means that I would serve in his mission. {Slovenia}. Or his hometown. {Tooele}. Who knows.

:: Round 2: No explanation + Brett ducking for cover well before I throw+ 3 spins.

:: Verdict: I'm either going to The Bronx or France. {They're right next to each other on the wall, and the pen sort of bounced}.
:: It's a completely accurate process. We're sure of it.
