"We die. That may be the meaning of life. But we do language.
That may be the measure of our lives." - Toni Morrison

"Growing up Southern is a privilege, really. It's more than where you're born; it's an idea and state of mind that seems imparted at birth. It's more than loving fried chicken, sweet tea, football, and country music. It’s being hospitable, devoted to front porches, magnolias, moon pies, coca-cola... and each other. We don't become Southern - we're born that way." - Unknown

saturday night's alright...

:: I am getting more and more used to watching movies with subtitles.
{It's interesting to see the differences between what is said, and what the subtitles read.}
:: And Gilmore Girls Season 6 is the only one without them.

: You run into people you don't expect to see when you least expect it.
{yesterday I saw my cousin Becky at my apartment complex.}
:: DVDs from Australia don't work in my American-bought TV.
{Thank goodness for laptops.}
:: I am completely in love with my new bright red Vans.
