"We die. That may be the meaning of life. But we do language.
That may be the measure of our lives." - Toni Morrison

"Growing up Southern is a privilege, really. It's more than where you're born; it's an idea and state of mind that seems imparted at birth. It's more than loving fried chicken, sweet tea, football, and country music. It’s being hospitable, devoted to front porches, magnolias, moon pies, coca-cola... and each other. We don't become Southern - we're born that way." - Unknown

KISMET rhymes with.....

:: This weekend I:
- wrote in my journal a lot
- made pizza and garlic bread at 12:30 am Saturday night/Sunday morning, and then watched RENT
- spent my birthday money with great results
- was a double agent
- successfully bought a lot of healthy food on a grocery shopping trip because I was completely out of food {and found a new favorite grocery store in the process}
- found out that we really do live in an incredibly small world....my roommate Lauren's cousin Zoe {who is visiting for the week} is secretly in love with my cousin Andrew
- realized that kicking a certain person's car at 2 am brought me a lot of satisfaction, and oddly enough, closure {at least for now}
- found a new motto thanks to L-Dawg + Mulan: "Open your eyes. Your heart will tell you no lies."

{Be true to your heart}
