"We die. That may be the meaning of life. But we do language.
That may be the measure of our lives." - Toni Morrison

"Growing up Southern is a privilege, really. It's more than where you're born; it's an idea and state of mind that seems imparted at birth. It's more than loving fried chicken, sweet tea, football, and country music. It’s being hospitable, devoted to front porches, magnolias, moon pies, coca-cola... and each other. We don't become Southern - we're born that way." - Unknown

don't cry, don't raise your eye

{it's only teenage wasteland}

When there is music:
I dance.
I laugh.
I sing.
I love.
I live.

As I sit on the couch in the wee hours of the morning, homework finished, checking the news online, eating tortilla chips {plain, right out of the bag}, alternately listening to choruses of "Baba O'Riley
," "Peace of Mind," and "Locomotive Breath," all while watching The History Channel, the only thing I can think is:
I am my father's daughter.

Yep. And that's why I love you so. You have to know music does the same for me.
