That may be the measure of our lives." - Toni Morrison

"Growing up Southern is a privilege, really. It's more than where you're born; it's an idea and state of mind that seems imparted at birth. It's more than loving fried chicken, sweet tea, football, and country music. It’s being hospitable, devoted to front porches, magnolias, moon pies, coca-cola... and each other. We don't become Southern - we're born that way." - Unknown

oh what a night

I looked out the window and what did I see?
No, not popcorn.
I saw Taran and Hyrum whiz by my living room window on scooters.
Naturally, I went outside to see what the occasion was,
Lauren and I did some laps around the 2nd floor before Hyrum talked me into tandem scootering.
Then somehow we ended up piggyback scootering...me simultaneously fearing for my life as I felt as though I was going to careen into the courtyard below at any second while on the back of Hyrum, as he and Taran+Lauren raced around the floor. But it was oh so much fun.
Then, amidst the scootering, choruses of "Paul" sung to "Ode to Joy" by Hyrum and Taran, and the afore mentioned guys plus Steve playing catch with me, something happened, and I ended up embraced in an ever so awkward hug with the last person on Earth that I felt like hugging. At that moment I was glad for a great friend that offered sympathetic apologies. Many 'Huzzahs' to you, my friend!
Then an impromptu dance party ensued in my kitchen along with a push up triangle that eventually ended up with all of us on the couch playing "name that tune" with Hyrum's phone.
What an excellent adventure for the evening!

Sounds like fun! and danger! *shakes finger at you* be safe now, ya hear!--snarky!

Are you huzzahing who I think you're huzzahing? I'm getting too old to decipher cryptic references. --sort of snarky

Glad things are going well. Name that tune with the phone sounds fun. --not snarky at all.

Love ya girl!!!
